Since 1985, during the first week of October, Canadians in communities across the country come together for local festivities celebrating National Family Week. The week provides an opportunity to celebrate families and reflect on their importance in our lives. In honour of the National Family Week the Borden Family Resource Centre will be holding a Family Connection Art Contest. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for contest updates.
Family Connection Art Contest
Canadian Military Families are the strength behind the uniform. Working together as a family, create and submit an original photo, drawing, sculpture, poem, cheer, song, or reel that depicts the unique strength of your family.
Contest Rules
- One entry per family.
- Email entry to bordenfamilyresourcecentre@gmail.com. With your submission, please include: your connection to the military, address, phone number, email address. Also, please indicate if your submission can be featured on the Centre’s social media accounts and promotional materials (not required for contest eligibility).
- Entries can be accepted between October 7 and October 13, 2024.
- The draw will be held on October 16. The public announcement of the winning family will only be made after the family has been notified and with the permission from one adult member.
- Eligibility: Families of CAF Members posted to CFB Borden and Veterans living in the County of Simcoe.
