Recreation Counsellor
Recreation Counsellors support the planning and delivery of daily camp activities, including sports, crafts, games, and outdoor programming. Key responsibilities include supervising camp participants, ensuring safety and well‑being, and helping maintain a positive, welcoming environment for all campers.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working with children or youth
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An interest in recreation, education, coaching, or youth leadership
This role provides valuable experience for students or emerging professionals looking to build their skills in recreation or childcare.
Recreation Inclusion Support Facilitator
The Recreation Inclusion Support Facilitator provides individualized assistance to children who require additional support to participate fully in Summer Camp activities. Working closely with counsellors and supervisors, the facilitator helps ensure activities are accessible, adaptable, and inclusive for every participant.
Ideal candidates will have experience or interest in:
- Inclusive or therapeutic recreation
- Child and youth care
- Disability support
- Education, psychology, or related fields
