Each year, communities across the country come together to recognize the amazing contributions of volunteers during National Volunteer Week. In 2026, Canada will Ignite Volunteerism: A year-long, nation-building celebration that celebrates the time, talent and dedication that strengthens communities.
At the Borden Family Resource Centre (BFRC), volunteers play an essential role in supporting the Centres mission. From serving on the Board of Directors and assisting with programs and events, to preparing packages for recruiting ceremonies and lending a helping hand wherever needed, their dedication, compassion, and willingness to give their time make a meaningful impact on the military families served.
The BFRC would like to take this opportunity to thank all Centre volunteers for their commitment and generosity. Your contributions do not go unnoticed, and the Centre is grateful for all that you do.
